Partizansky District (Russian: Партиза́нский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the forty-three in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia. It is located in the southeastern portion of the krai and borders with Uyarsky District in the north, Rybinsky District in the northeast, Sayansky District in the east, Kuraginsky District in the south, and Mansky District in the west. The area of the district is 4,959 square kilometers (1,915 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Partizanskoye.[1] Population: 10,255 (2010 Census preliminary results);[5] 12,437 (2002 Census);[10] 15,412 (1989 Census).[11] Population of Partizanskoye accounts for 32.0% of the district's population.[6]

History

The district was founded on April 4, 1924.[2]

Divisions and government

Administratively, the district is divided into nine selsoviets, which are municipally incorporated as rural settlements. The Head of the District is Alexander A. Zemurbeys; the Chairman of the District Council is Alexander V. Kudryavtsev.[2] As of 2010, the District Council consists of twenty-one deputies.[12]
